Equipping a new generation of young people who will passionately follow Jesus and serve Him in radical ways in Cebu and throughout the world.
Street Level Ministries is not a church. We are a group of people who want to know God and be used by Him in a big way. Our goal is to help students learn how to practically pursue God by teaching what He says in the bible, helping students find the right church, and equipping them to find God's purpose for their lives. We are driven by our love for Jesus, commitment to His call to make disciples, and a desire to make Him known on campuses around the world.
Are you a Christian in college who is looking for more than just church on Sundays? Do you crave the deeper things of the Bible? Are you looking for true friendship and fellowship with other Christian students? Have you tried a few campus ministries and never quite fit in? Maybe Street Level Ministries is for you.
It is apparent to most all of us that there is a lot of beauty in the world and in humans, but also a lot of pain and corruption. The Bible tells us that humanity was "made in the image of God" but that humanity has been separated from Him because they chose their own way instead of His.
The Bible says that Jesus is the eternal son of God, who became a man in order to be our Redeemer, ‘For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.’ – 1 Timothy 2:5. Jesus, the Son of God, is our redeemer because He brings us back to God through his death on the cross.
God is the Creator of the Universe. He created the stars in the sky and the skeletal structure of a bird. His hand is on all things: giving it life and keeping it together. He is the loving Father of all who want to be His children and He invites us into a dynamic relationship with Him.
This semester, we are digging into our Bibles with our series called "The Story: Your Place in the Grand Narrative." First, we will walk through the Old Testament starting with creation and ending with the captivity. After that we will move on to the New Testament, essentially going through the entire Bible in one year. Join us as we discover the God of the Bible and how we can find our place in His Great Story.
Join us for a FREE dinner at 6:30pm (with valid student ID) and Bible study at 7:30pm. We meet on Fridays in the conference room at Elicon Cafe.
